In this review, you’ll see how the TheTruthSpy monitoring app compares when tested against the best monitoring apps on the market.

TheTruthSpy is a mobile spy app used to secretly track or monitor someone’s activity on Android or iOS phones.

TheTruthSpy is designed for parents who want to monitor their children’s cell phone activity or employers who want to keep track of their employees’ work activities.

Our Evaluation of TheTruthSpy

PROS

  • Remote control of the target phone
  • Real-time tracking
  • Fully undetectable
  • 7-Day refund policy

CONS

  • Only work on Android devices
  • SLOW customer support

TheTruthSpy is a reasonably good Android spy app. It offers a comprehensive list of spying features for phones using the Android operating system.

But…

TheTruthSpy does not offer many of the monitoring features offered by our top Android spying app, uMobix. It’s also nearly 20% more expensive than uMobix and only offers a 7-day refund policy.

TheTruthSpy has been in existence since 2010. Their spy app is designed to remotely spy on another person’s cell phone activity.

You can install the spy application on any Android device and monitor the phone’s activity using a web-based control panel.

Once the download finishes, click install.

Enable the following features during the installation process.

  • Activate all permissions
  • Do not optimize battery usage
  • Enable accessibility
  • Device administrator
  • Notification access

Step 3: TheTruthSpy Account Registration

The next step in the installation process is creating a paid account with TheTruthSpy.

After you have paid you will receive a registration number. The last step of the installation process is to enter this registration number when prompted during the app setup.

At this point you will want to clear the browser history and delete the APK file. This ensures the target user cannot detect the app has been installed.

Step 4: Login and Spy on the Target Phone

Before spying, log in to your account on the TheTruthSpy website. Once logged in, you can use any of the features listed on the spy app’s dashboard.

Key iOS Spy Features

TheTruthSpy does NOT currently offer an iOS version of their software.

TheTruthSpy Alternatives

This review wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t mention some alternatives that we prefer to TheTruthSpy. Here are our favorite spy apps.

uMobix

uMobix is currently our favorite cell phone spying app. The uMobix spy app offers more spying features for apps like Snapchat, Youtube, and Tinder.

TheTruthSpy only displays messages from Snapchat. uMobix captures screenshots of user activity. This facilitates tracking of Snaps, videos, and more.

uMobix allows also captures screenshots of Youtube activity. This includes searches, video screenshots and more. TheTruthSpy only captures Youtube searches using the keystroke logging feature.

uMobix also offers live tech support. All of our support requests to TheTruthSpy went unanswered.

uMobix is $12.49 per month when purchased using the annual subscription. TheTruthSpy is $15.41 per month.

FlexiSpy

The FlexiSpy spy software offers more spying features than any other app. But it’s also the most expensive and difficult to install.

You can start with a 24-hour free trial.

The main difference between FlexiSPY and TheTruthSpy is that FlexiSPY offers phones that come with their software pre-installed. This saves you the trouble of having to root or jailbreak the device and install the software yourself.

FlexiSpy also allows users to spy on Windows computers using the computer monitoring software.

iSpyoo

iSpyoo is a cell phone monitoring app that offers a limited number of monitoring features on Android-based tablets and phones. Unlocking advanced tracking features requires rooting the device.

Like most monitoring apps, the iSpyoo spying software operates completely hidden in the background on the target cell phone, so it is invisible from the phone’s owner.
